Gigafactory Texas on 22 October 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Another tremendously busy day on the site today with activity on every section of the main factory building (inside and outside) and on the south pond and bridge areas and on the east and north sides as well. The feeling on the site is one of pushing to complete the last of the big things to concentrate on some smaller, but no less important projects related to production start. It’s great to see all the activity and progress!
In this video, we look at Giga Texas-related outcomes and information from the 2021 3rd Quarter Earnings Call, and we discuss some news about Giga berlin being delayed again and how this may impact Giga Texas. We also look at new inside images released by Tesla and show where these were taken to help the viewer have a better understanding of the factory layout.

Here are the highlights from today's video:
- We start out on the southeast side and see that many wall panels have been removed from this side of the stamping machine structure. It's more than just for a window line, so I'm not sure what they are doing, but it is a big change whatever it is.
- Also on the east side and along the Body in White structure, we see continued progress with the concrete driveway areas and more rebar and form work is underway. I'd say they are nearing 75% of this side completed in concrete driveways now.
- In the central area, we see a lot of work on the far south end completing the last of the column footings in the center pit area . We also see footing work on both the east and west shoulders all the way to the south perimeter grade beam. The steel structure continues rapid growth and is now about at the end of the double center footing area. Beams are being installed on the south end roof area while roof decking continues installation on the north end.
- There continues to be a lot of activity reshaping the south pond area, and most of the storm water pipes have now been buried.
Looking into the south end of the General Assembly structure we see the last area of the second floor receive concrete today, essentially completing this floor. On the west side, the majority of the large glass panes have been installed and the empty crates carted away.
- The battery cell structure west side continues to get work on and near the loading dock area, while large green "chillers" are getting ready for installation. I believe these are part of a large and powerful cooling system related to the Evapco cooling towers on the 4th floor. We also see on the north end work to apparently install water vaults in front of the former "alley" area. I am unsure what these will be used for in this area. Inside the "alley" area, we see slab work continuing under the bridge crane area.
- The casting structure now has all wall panels except one installed, really transforming how this area appears. More trench and utility work going on the east side, as well as many more model Y castings arranged for pickup. A big development is the last remaining Stotek furnace parts are now being moved into the casting structure.
- Finally, we look closely at the horizontal drilling operations, starting in the north and working south, and we see where the pipes are being pulled through, more drilling operations, and more pipes waiting n the south end.
