Building A Natural Swimming Pool Gravel Filter Part IV I start out by placing more rocks "Rocking in" then I get the 12v pump going and pump out the water. The second half of the video I show how I make a simple gravel bed filter. The filter provides surface area for beneficial biofilm to live and do its job of feeding on the nutrients in the water.
