Thomas and his two housemates live in an apartment in Ithaca. They were able to have a heat pump installed through Sustainable Finger Lakes’ Clean Energy and Equity Pilot program. The new system has kept them warm during this past winter and Thomas is excited to have air conditioning now that it is starting to warm up outside!

Thanks to Simply Installs, Sustainable Finger Lakes, and NYSERDA, Thomas and his housemates can stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer while also saving energy. The CO2 reduction for the work done on the entire building is keeping 206 tons of CO2 out of the atmosphere!
