installing a Mini split in the shop. This is a relatively easy thing to do to bring heat and cooling to your shop. However you have to pay specific attention to a few things for example like doing it yourself will void your warranty . However if you do choose to do it you're gonna have to make sure that everything's dry clean and torque to the right specifications. Not to mention looking up the control wires to your pump have to be orientated correctly.

What I didn't choose to do and you are supposed to do is your supposed to vacuum check it and and pressure check it before you let the gas in the system. Not pressure checking It may allow you to have leaks in your system and it'll slowly leak out over a week or 2 and then pretty soon you won't have heating or cooling and it might cause your pump to pack in. Non vacuum mat cut allow moisture in the lines and moisture is not a good thing it'll cause freezing up of your pump and plugging internal stuff and once again causing your pump to pack in. This is the 3rd unit I've done and the 1st one I did was 5 years ago and they did not follow the vacuuming impression checking and it still runs fine whether you accept your risk as you see fit.
