In this video I show a few things I look at to determine the refrigerant charge on a VRV unit. If you look closely you'll notice a low discharge temperature. This doesn't contradict the diagnosis. The discharge temperature/DSH would have risen if I had waited, but I wanted to capture the EEV step-up before it moved off screen. This unit did have a leak that I repaired as soon as I could.
