Potentially deadly & unsafe dangerous conditions exist if the unit is leaking gas - combustion gases. I received this brand new model Navien NCB240-130H to replenish our stock. Suspecting the same design and manufacturing defect and failure, I recorded the unboxing and test.

Just like the CH, NCB, NCB-E, NPE series and NHB models - the burner gasket allows combustion gases to leak inside the cabinet. These gases then get sucked in as fresh combustion air.
