During summers we come across root rotting, its mainly due to a fungi called odium sps and higher water temperature (will abate the O2 concentration and activate the fungi activity).
Here's some tips you need to follow.
water rotation every once in 45 days, ovide exposure of nutrient water and fragment the water particle in nutrient main tank and maintain continuous water flow these will mitigate the root rot problem.
it is even better if you maintain 5ppm of dissolved O2 in nutrient tank water, this can be done by installing air pump inside the fertigation tank.
choosing a right variety is wise and important thing.
Also, go for installation of chillers if you are ready to invest more.
